When the Snøhvit project was coming to an end, carriers continued to be involved in Norway’s expanding gas market.

Between January and March 2006, the vessels successfully completed seven shipments of overdimensional steel modules from Hoboken, Belgium, to Nyhamna for the construction and installation phase of the Ormen Lange project – the world’s longest subsea pipeline. The shipments were not only completed successfully, but also earlier than the completion dates set by the operating partners Hydro and Aker Kvaerner.
